Ballroom Tango is passionate, aggressive and staccato dance. A high energy dance that is more regimented than the Argentine Tango and contains lots of head flicks and intricate foot work. Tango is perfect for those who admire the energy, drama and story-telling aspect of dancing.
Viennese Waltz
This dance whirls around the floor at a fast pace. Poise is very important as you glide over the floor. Although there are only six steps to learn in this dance, don’t let this fool you… Viennese Waltz is a tricky dance to master but a joy to dance.
Slow Foxtrot
The most difficult of the ballroom dances; it is beautiful and graceful and requires control and style. It is a smooth progressive dance characterised by long, continuous flowing movements across the dance floor. Famous Big-Band swing music ensures this is very popular dance to learn. Although it is a difficult dance to master, don’t be put off! It is known to be a firm favorite with a majority of ballroom dancers.
Quickstep
A fast moving bubbly dance full of life, comprising of walks and chasses. It is unlike any other ballroom dances, integrating ‘swing’ movements with hops, skips and jumps too! With steps including the "Scatter Chasses", "Charleston", and "Fishtail" you'll be zooming around the floor in no time. The fastest dance of them all – great for building fitness and stamina!
